As head of school, I am privileged to introduce Kirkbymoorside as a true community primary. The children, staff, parents and trust partners of our school, work closely together in order to ensure every child is inspired to succeed and enabled to fulfil their potential.

We work closely with our partners to ensure our children can access a range of rich experiences (as our clubs, extra-curricular activities and enriched learning opportunities show). We are focused on delivering an engaging, progressive, inclusive and challenging curriculum which will inspire the children and give them the knowledge, joy and skills they require to become life-long learners. 

Throughout our teaching, learning and interactions, we strive to nurture and grow the values of Kindness, Curiosity and Pride. Our school is driven by staff who model these values in their own professional development as we continuously strive to enhance the learning experiences for the children in our care. We are proud of our school and the fantastic children who make it. Every day, they amaze and inspire us to be the best we can be, our aim is to do the same for these incredible, young people
